Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy explains how BarevTrip ("BarevTrip", "we") handles personal data when you visit BarevTrip, book a trip or send a request.

1. Who is responsible

BarevTrip is the controller of your personal data. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Booking details: name, phone number, whether to contact you in WhatsApp or Telegram, email (optional), pickup address or hotel, flight number, date and time, number of passengers and suitcases, child seat and guide options, notes and the payment method.
  • Custom trip requests: name, email, phone (optional) and the trip details you enter.
  • Technical data: a random visitor ID stored in a cookie and in the browser, a session ID, pages viewed, button clicks, scroll depth, time on page, page speed measurements, the referring site and campaign tags (UTM), browser and device type, and the approximate country of the connection.
  • With each booking our server also stores a one-way hash of the IP address and the browser’s user agent to prevent abuse.
  • We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers.

3. Why we use it

  • To arrange and deliver your trip and to contact you about it — necessary to perform the contract with you.
  • To accept payments and keep accounting records — our legal obligations.
  • To protect the website from abuse and to understand which pages help travellers — our legitimate interest. Technical data is not used to identify you personally.

4. Who receives your data

  • The driver and, if booked, the guide assigned to your trip — only what they need: your name, phone, pickup point, flight number and trip details.
  • Our bank or payment provider when you pay by card. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • The messengers and email service you choose for communication (WhatsApp, Telegram, email).
  • Our hosting and content delivery providers, who store and transmit data on our behalf.
  • Public authorities, when the law requires it.
  • We do not sell personal data.

5. How long we keep it

  • Booking and request data — for as long as Armenian accounting and tax law requires; after that it is deleted or anonymised.
  • Technical data linked to the random visitor ID — no longer than two years.

6. Cookies and browser storage

  • visitor_id — a first-party cookie with a random ID, set by our server for up to 400 days, to tell new and returning visits apart.
  • site_visitor_id, site_attribution, site_attribution_first, site_attribution_last — browser storage with the same random ID and the source of your visit (referring site, UTM tags).
  • site_session_id, site_landing_visited, site_js_error_count — session storage that is cleared when you close the tab.
  • You can delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings at any time; the website keeps working.

7. Your rights

  • Access your data and receive a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data or restrict its use, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Object to the use of your data based on our legitimate interest.
  • Receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
  • Complain to a data protection authority — in Armenia, the Personal Data Protection Agency; in the EU or the UK, the authority of your country.
  • To use your rights, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month.

8. International transfers

Our providers may store data outside Armenia and the European Economic Area. Where the GDPR applies, such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards.

9. Children

Bookings are made by adults. Information about children (for example, the age for a child seat) is provided by their parents and used only for the trip.

10. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change; the date at the top shows the current version.
